Onaleigh Earls donates hair to cancer charity
On Thursday, April 30th, Onaleigh Earls cut her hair in Kiltullagh Hall for The Little Princess Trust. The trust provides real hair wigs to boys and girls across Ireland and the UK that have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment. An ice-cream party was also held on the day to raise funds for the charity.
11 year Onaleigh has been taking about donating her hair since last summer, and decided to do so on the week after her Confirmation. Attending Kiltullagh National School, Onaleigh has two brothers Tommy and Isacc, and is daughter of proud parents, Dermot and Teresa Earls.
Onaleigh Earls would like to thank everyone for their donations. A special thanks to all who sponsored ice cream: Duane’s Hardware and Foodstore, Mc Gann’s Attymon, Mc Inerney’s, Corrib Oil, Corrb Food Products Kiltullagh, Fahy’s Centra, Joyce’s, Aldi, and Tesco.
Thank you to the mammies who helped served up the ice-cream, and a huge thank you to Sharon from Sharons Hair Salon in Athenry for cutting Onaleigh’s hair.
