At meetings of the Dioceses Priests Council, the age profile of priests, and the decline in vocations had been discussed. This situation will have serious implications for every parish in Clonfert. Pastoral councils, and people of the parish are requested to discuss this matter, and make suggestions. The core issue is the survival of parishes in the absence of a priest.
