Killimordaly GAA Club and Kiltullagh Killimordaly Camogie Club join forces for 24hrjoginthebog fundraiser
Killimordaly GAA Club and Kiltullagh Killimordaly Camogie Club have joined forces for one BIG club fundraiser to raise much needed funds for both our pitch development and COPE Galway.
On Saturday 18th July 2020 we are calling on all club members, families, friends, relatives and neighbours to come take part and support our #24hrjoginthebog.
We are aiming to continuously have families or any group of 2 persons or more to walk or jog the Killimordaly 5km bog road-route. We are aiming to have at least one family/group relay on the route at any one time over the 24hr period.
Age doesn’t matter! Book a time and gather your group. Bring you son, daughter, brother, sister, mother, father, granny or grandad and even the dog along with your family/group. Each group will receive a sponsorship card to try and raise sponsorship for their own walk/jog.
So whether it’s taking part in the walk/jog on the day, a supporter wishing to donate to a families sponsorship card or a business wishing to sponsor a part of the route – WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT NOW MORE THAN EVER! All money raised on the day and days leading up to this event will go directly to paying for our pitch development and COPE Galway which is our chosen charity this year.
Disclaimer: PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A RACE. THE AIM IS TO GET AS MANY FAMILIES/ GROUPS TO WALK OR JOG THE 5KM ROUTE OVER A 24HR PERIOD. STRICT SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES WILL BE IN PLACE OVER THE 24HRS.
*Date: Saturday 18th July – Sunday 19th July: 3 pm – 3 pm (24Hrs).
