The seventh running of the Kilconieron 5 Mile Charity Road Race takes place at noon on Sunday 22nd February 2015.

This year the chosen charity is Athenry Cancer Care, a local based charity dedicated to helping patients of cancer and their families to cope when cancer strikes. Every cent raised goes directly to providing services to cancer patients in the immediate local area.

Runners and walkers of all abilities and agilities are welcome. All runners will be chip timed and the race is permitted by Athletics Ireland.

Entry is €15 for runners and €10 for walkers and is available online at runireland.com or on the day. Everyone who enters online will be in a draw to win free entries to some of Galway’s top races, including the Connemarathon, the Galway 5K Series, the Kinvara Rock and Road Half Marathon and 10K and the Craughwell 10 Mile.
