Ground Improvements at Killimordaly Kiltullagh Community Centre

Killimordaly Kiltullagh Community Centre is pleased to announce significant improvements to its grounds, enhancing the safety and appeal of the facility for the community.

The community centre extends its gratitude to the fantastic local team at Galway Rural Development (GRD) for their work this summer, which included the installation of new fencing, gates, a bike shelter, picnic tables with concrete pads, and more. These enhancements have made the playground safer, more attractive, and more secure for children.

In a recent post on the Killimordaly Kiltullagh Community Centre Facebook page, the centre stated: ‘We’re very fortunate to have GRD working with us and are grateful for their professionalism. Thanks too to LEADER for funding that made this possible.

Additional appreciation is extended to Esker ReadyMix and McInerney’s for their contributions to the groundworks, ensuring a tidy car park for all visitors.

A special thanks is also due to Galway County Council for funding these works through the Community Support Scheme 2024.
